Bringing a baby into the world, whether it be through birth, adoption, fostering, or just being the cool aunt/uncle/grandparent/friend, is HARD! Finding baby products that make your life easier shouldn’t be!

It feels like yesterday that my husband and I, green with excitement about bringing a baby into the world, walked the aisles of Target and became immediately overwhelmed at the sight of so many baby products. Honestly, I still don’t know what half of those products do!

Instead of wasting your precious days scratching your head at all the adorable contraptions the baby aisles have to offer, let me save you some time. I’ve compiled 15 of my absolute FAVORITE baby products that made parenting at least 110% easier for me. Here’s my 15 favorite baby products that make your life easier!

15 Baby Products That Make Life Easier

1- Graco Pack ‘n Play Travel Dome Playard

A Pack and Play is an absolute necessity for new parents! You could easily skip the added goodies and get a cheaper, more paired down Pack and Play (like this one), but the added goodies are so useful! The travel dome works great for naps on the go. I’ve seen many moms at our local pool using the travel dome for their babies naps while their older kids swim.

And trust me, you’re going to want to have the changing table feature. After my emergency c section, sitting on the floor for diaper changes was very painful for a few months. The changing table attachment made diaper changes easy on my back and my c section incision.

And another pro tip, put a few ball pit balls in your pack and play (without the attachments on) and your baby will be entertained in a safe place for quite some time!

2- The Baby Bum Brush

I am 100% convinced that this is the greatest baby invention on the planet! It’s literally a spatula for your babies tiny little booty! Now you don’t have to put on diaper cream with your hands! Just squeeze a little bit on the bum brush, and spread it wherever you need. It also has a suction cup bottom, so you can stick it to the top of your wipes container! I never knew I could fall in love with a butt spatula, but I did!

3- The Nose Frida

When you leave the hospital with your bundle of joy, you’ll be given a little bulb suction tool that can be used for getting boogers out of your babies nose.

Newsflash: The bulb suckers SUCK! But not in the way you want.

The Nose Frida sucks out all of the boogers out of your babies nose using your sucking power. Yes, it sounds nasty, and it kind of is. But compared to the bulb suckers, the Nose Frida makes your life 100% easier!

4- Baby Changing Pad by Lil Fox

Yes, you still may want a diaper bag (btw, this one is my favorite.) But when you’re trying to make a quick exit out of a church service after you baby let off an atomic bomb, or you’re at the park with nowhere sanitary to change, these diaper changing wristlets come in clutch!

5- Yogasleep Rohm Portable White Noise Machine

White noise has been shown to help babies sleep deeper, and can make a major difference for on-the-go naps. This little sound machine packs a huge punch! It has 3 sound settings, a rope for hanging, and it’s rechargeable. We’ve used this for car naps, sleepovers at grandparent’s houses, and even in the stroller during a long shopping trip to Target! It’s absolutely the greatest sound machine on the market.

6- FEISIKE Wearable Electric Breast Pump

I exclusively pumped for about a month and a half, and using the traditional “hands free” pumps drove me insane! Even with breast pumping bras, having a million cords coming out of my bosom was stressful! This wearable breast pump is hands free in all the right ways. It’s cordless, wearable under clothes, and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. There are other hands free pumps on the market that do about the same thing, but well over double the price. This is most definitely the hands free pump for the average woman who doesn’t have $500 to spend.

7- Elvie Curve Manual Wearable Breast Pump

I know I just recommended one breast pump, but many people don’t realize the benefits of manual pumping. This manual pump is also wearable under clothes, which makes life much easier. Many people claim that manual expression can me more effective than any electric pump. This makes manual expression so much simpler and more intuitive.

8- The Slumberpod

The Slumberpod is a blackout tent that pops over top of pack and plays or toddler beds.

My son requires a pitch black room for sleeping. That would often create a lot of stress when traveling. The Slumberpod is a traveling sleep tent that makes your babies sleep space almost completely dark! Honestly, I wish they made an adult sized one for myself. The Slumberpod is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made as a parent, and has 100% made my life easier.

9- Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Portable Travel Baby Bottle Warmer

If you have a picky baby that requires a warm bottle, then you know that going out and about can be a huge pain in the butt, This bottle warmer is literally a thermos with a nesting lid. You simply fill the thermos with boiling water, then when you’re ready to warm up your bottle, you pour the hot water into the lid and put the bottle in. Honestly, it’s such a simple concept but it works so well. This was an absolute lifesaver for my son during the bottle feeding days.

10- Dr. Brown’s Formula Mixing Pitcher

When we decided to switch my son to formula, we found that middle of the night feedings became so cumbersome when you had to go through the whole charade of making bottles at night. With the Dr. Browns formula pitcher, you pre-make as much formula as you would need for a 24 hour period (or however long the formula you use would last untouched in the fridge). When you need it, you just pour it, warm it, and serve. It absolutely made middle of the nights so much easier for us!

11- Baby K’tan Original Baby Wrap Carrier

I’ve experimented with MANY baby carriers. The ones with buckles were too cumbersome for me, the wraps were too hard to figure out. The Baby KTan wrap is like a traditional wrap carrier, but you don’t actually wrap it. You put it on similar to a t-shirt and go! There’s many ways you can use it, and is good for babies up to 35 pounds. I used our Baby KTan up until my son was well past 1 years old! It’s simple to operate, and is absolutely a baby product that makes life easier.

12 – Medi Frida the Accu-Dose Pacifier Baby Medicine Dispenser

Nobody wants to think about when your baby gets sick, but it’s unfortunately inevitable. My son had severe acid reflux, so we quickly became masters at squirting nasty medicine into our squirmy baby’s mouth. This medicine pacifier made that process at least 10,000% simpler. The pacifier shoots the medicine past the babies taste buds, so weird tasting medicine won’t even phase your baby.

13- Evenflo Versatile Play Space

A massive baby gate can absolutely be a lifesaver for a mobile baby. Instead of having to constantly say “no” every time your baby crawls somewhere they shouldn’t, you can use this to create a “yes” space. Yes, it’s basically baby jail, but it’s much better than constantly yelling “no” at a curious baby wanting to break into your kitchen cabinets.

14- The Zipadee Zip

When my son was starting to roll over, we were hit with the sad reality that we needed to break him of the swaddle overnight. After what seemed like an eternity of trying to sleep without the swaddle, we bought a Zipadee Zip and never looked back. It makes baby feel like they’re being swaddled, but they can still roll over safely. My son wore Zipadee Zips to bed up until he was 2 and a half!

15- Evenflo Gold SensorSafe EveryStage Smart All-in-One Convertible Car Seat

Obviously, you need a car seat! This convertible car seat is the absolute GOAT! I honestly feel like you need to have a college degree in installing a car seat. This car seat makes installation so SIMPLE! You seriously just click it into the Latch buckles in your car, use the ratcheting tool on the bottom, and get it as tight as you can. This is definitely a splurge purchase, but car safety is one thing that is 100% WORTH splurging on. This car seat makes getting as secure of a installation as possible as simple as possible.
